Adventure for all Ages!
Planned and organized by Sport, Culture, and Recreation Board volunteers, the Mystical Forest is located along the Bay Lake North Walking Trail. The entrance is located behind the ball diamond and tennis court.
Residents and businesses use their imagination to construct miniature displays with gnomes, fairies, trolls, bears, etc. along the walking trail.
2026 Mystical Forest dates are June 1 to September 15
Please contact the Resort Village Office at (306) 929-2236 or info@candlelake.ca if you would like to create a display and to find a spot along the trail to build your display. Walking only please!
Display Creation Guidelines
Participants creating a display should follow these general rules:
Environmental Responsibility
- Use environmentally sensitive materials.
- Avoid damaging trees, plants, or natural features.
- Build displays that blend into the natural landscape.
Trail Respect
- Do not block the trail.
- Visitors should remain on the trail while exploring the displays.
Installation
- Contact the Resort Village Office to register and get an assigned location along the trail.
- Displays should be secure and safe for visitors.
Removal
Participants are responsible for removing their display at the end of the season.
